I have worked in radiotherapy for over 30 years, initially as a treatment radiographer and then as on-treatment review radiographer managing the acute side effects of radiotherapy and other cancer therapies. I am currently Consultant Radiographer for Head & Neck Cancer. I have a particular interest in oral care and treatment and prevention of oral mucositis. I am an independent prescriber which has enabled me to improve the support I provide to patients with oral mucositis and head and neck cancers.
